Counterpart to the portfolio of the Maris exhibition, Lion Cachet made this time more use of an almost puzzle-like grid of entwining forms. When I have a picture with good detailing I will place it here.
Making a central place for ideas and short publications about the history of textile dyeing with natural products. I hold MA and MSc degrees in both biology (ethnobotany) and (fashion) design, so you can expect almost anything in these fields (preferably combined).
The title will be "Iris arborescens", which is Latin for 'a rainbow growing like a tree', but could also mean a (non-existant) botanical species, a tree-formed fleur-de-lys.
Which would make an interesting thought experiment to imagine...
